How to Apply
1. Submit an initial application. To get started, provide basic contact information, identification, academic information and medical records for your student.
2. Submit required documents. Here you will provide required supporting documents such as copies of passport or ID, academic transcripts, letters of reference and English proficiency examination results, as required.
3. Pay the enrollment fee. Once accepted, enrollment fee of €400, and all other fees must be paid before your student can begin classes.

Bucharest Christian Academy is a fully American, college preparatory international school for grades PreK through 12. It follows American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards and is accredited by both Middle States Association of Colleges (MSA) and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Instruction is in English, with Romanian language course offerings. The academic calendar begins in August and ends in June.
BCA will enroll students without regard to color, race, religion or creed who either speak English as a native language or qualify for a spot in our ELL Program.
The director may refuse admission to any student if the student and/or BCA will not benefit from the student’s enrollment. The following admissions factors will also be considered: a student’s age, previous school experience, physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities, history of misbehavior, unresolved previous school problems, willingness to cooperate with staff, or previous unpaid fees.
Age Requirements and Grade Placement
PreK | Students enrolling in BCA’s preschool program must be age 3 by September 15 and potty trained.
Kindergarten | Students must be 5 years of age by September 15.
1st Grade | Students must be 6 years of age by September 15. Attendance in kindergarten before 1st grade is not required but is strongly encouraged.
2nd to 12th Grade | Students in BCA’s elementary program and secondary program will be placed in appropriate grade based on successful completion of previous grade.
